Americas

The Americas Region seeks to advance QuEST Forum’s strategic objectives and products in Canada, Mexico, the United States, and Latin America, continually advocate Work Group benefits to members, champion wider TL 9000 adoption in the supply chain, and drive participation through Special Interest Group (SIG) events.

Regional Benefits

In addition to the benefits of the QuEST Forum and/or being TL 9000 certified, our region extends even more advantages to telecom organizations. These include:

  • Special focus on regional supply chain quality and standards requirements
  • Increased opportunities for global carriers and suppliers to participate on a regional basis of our “Partners for Excellence Program”
  • Multiple avenues for member contribution and participation at leadership and operational roles
  • Greater voice in dealing with local / regional regulatory bodies
  • Access to relevant quality resources and knowledge
  • Excellent showcase for best practices originating in North and South America

2010 Initiatives

  • Present the Americas Best Practices Conference in Atlanta, Georgia in September 2010.
  • Fully support and promote the work and accomplishments of the SIG groups in North America.
  • Continue to demonstrate membership value to small companies and Tier 2 and 3 suppliers.
  • Continue peer mentoring program for new members and engage non-participating QuEST Forum members.
  • Build momentum in Canada, Mexico, and Latin America through focused member recruitment initiatives, training, workshops, and formation of SIGs.
