GlobalComm
The Global Communications Work Group provides a collaborative global forum to telecommunications industry leaders by facilitating the launch of regional operations and driving marketing and communications activities for the Americas, Asia Pacific (APAC), and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) hubs.
GlobalComm Objectives
- Spearhead global marketing efforts and teams to ensure full alignment with QuEST Forum strategies
- Develop and implement a policy for regional QuEST Forum representation through other groups
- Develop and implement global work structures
- Develop global communications and marketing for the QuEST Forum
- Identify and recruit key companies for membership
2008 GlobalComm Initiatives and Projects
- Disseminate timely information to QuEST Forum members, TL 9000 registered companies, auditors and registrars, training organizations and larger community on new offerings and developments
- Establish, staff and coordinate regional hubs and operations including events, conferences and workshops, as needed
- Publish and promote new product offerings like Performance Data Reports (PDRs) through executive briefs, trend reports, benchmarks and registration statistics
- Produce and publish value statements, illustrative case studies and marketing collateral for use by various regions, Web sites, member recruitment support, media relations, and more
- Obtain, understand and interpret membership needs through surveys, first-person inputs and meetings; create communication lines to capture inputs and needs at regional level and provide feedback to Executive board
- Define and implement translation policy for QuEST Forum and TL 9000 materials
- Create of opportunities for member involvement and engagement
- Maintain QuEST Forum Web sites and portals to provide consistent user experience, relevant information, easy navigation and search tools, and up-to-date information
